Dr Ogunbiyi Bamigboye Ezekiel is a Medical practitioner, he holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine and Surgery. He also did Postgraduate Studies University Teaching Hospital (Nottingham UK).
Dr Ogunbiyi Bamigboye Ezekiel began his career journey doing his pre-regiostration internship at the ABU teaching hospital, and in the same hospital, he served as Senior House Officer- Anesthesia, then he went on to become a Senior House Officer in Obstetrics & Gynaecology, and later Registrar in the same hospital and department. While climbing up his career ladder, he served outside the shores of Nigeria as Supernumerary Registrar in Obstetrics & Gynaecology in City Hospital, Nottingham UK and then moved to Queens Medical Centre Nottingham UK serving in the same capacity.
Dr Ogunbiyi Bamigboye Ezekiel returned as Consultant Obstetrician & Gynecologist at Borno State Specialists Hospital Maiduguri-Nigeria and after a year he was promoted and made Senior Consultant Obstetrician & Gynecologist. He later moved on to Nakowa Specialists Hospital Maiduguri where he served as Chief Medical Director. Currently Dr Ogunbiyi Bamigboye Ezekiel is the CEO and CMD of his own hospital; Tolbert Specialists Hospital.
Dr Ogunbiyi Bamigboye Ezekiel has Membership in various Professional and Non- Professional Bodies such as the Borno State Hospital Management Board, Reference Committee of Royal College of Obstetrician & Gynaecologist London (Nigerian Chapter), Member of Council Society of Obstetrics & Gynaecology National Steering Committee of Baby Friendly Hospital Initiative (Federal Ministry of Health), West African College of Surgeons and International College of Surgeon.
Dr Ogunbiyi Bamigboye Ezekiel has held Chairmanship of professional bodies like The Nigerian medical Association (Northern Sector) where he served as Assistant General Secretary, he served as Chairman in Borno State Specialists Hospital Committee, in the Nigerian Medical Association Borno State, in Borno State Sickle Cell Committee, Chairman Board of Management of Namu School Maiduguri Borno State.
Dr Ogunbiyi Bamigboye Ezekiel also chaired some Non-professional bodies like Member Bethany Christian Academy Jos Plateau State Nigeria where he was among the Board of Trustees and then served as Chairman of the Board of Trustees Pastors Training Trust Fund, Chairman of the Board of Trustees EYN Conference Centre, Maiduguri Borno State Building committee, Brethren Health Committee EYN CHURCH ABUJA, Co-Founder Ezekiel and Clara Ogunbiyi Foundation.
Dr Ogunbiyi Bamigboye Ezekiel has received several awards in recognition of hes service and contribution to society. He happily married with five children and he enjoys Reading, Walking, Fish Farming and Youth mentoring.
